Why I Self Publish and Why You Should or Should Not Do the Same

Have you ever considered self publishing?  What would that take and how hard is it to publish your own book?  What are the benefits and the drawbacks of self publishing.  Come and talk to someone who decided to be an author of sixteen books by self publishing.  Sue will bring her books and walk you through the creation of a book and where to find the best resources for turning your words into a real book without being taken down the path of 'fake' publishers.  Now that it's all eBooks - how do you make your book and eBook anyway?

For the last 30 years, Sue has trained 9-1-1 operators.  Eleven years in a 911 center, 11 years teaching a college vocational course and 25 years as an entrapreneur selling training to 9-1-1 agencies.  She writes and self publishes books, makes videos and created a phone and radio simulator.  Her business can be found at www.911trainer.com.  She is connected to art in Tacoma as the host of the 100th Monkey and various other community projects.  She has been a dispute resolution mediator for fifteen years with PCCDR in Tacoma.
