Spaceworks Business Plan Cohort Applications

[A person standing in front of a store  Description automatically generated]The Spaceworks Incubator provides relevant and meaningful business training for experienced and first-time business owners, ambitious creative professionals, and folks passionate about making Tacoma a great place to live and work. We serve as a training ground to test new ideas, products, and services with a safety net of technical assistance, mentorship, and peer-to-peer support.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE FEBRUARY 16TH @ 12:01AM
Class begins March 12th and meets virtually (the first and last class are in person) every Tuesday from 6-9 pm.

The Spaceworks Business Plan Cohort is for entrepreneurs with an innovative/unique vision who want to be part of Tacoma's local economic community. Entrepreneurs are provided with the tools, resources, and support they need to determine the feasibility of their small business or non-profit in Tacoma and develop a business strategy through a business plan. Participants enjoy peer support and exchange while in the cohort, often forming a long-lasting support network.

Acceptance into the 12-week Business Plan Cohort includes several key benefits:

  •   $500 stipend for professional business services
    
  •   1-year trial membership to the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce
    
  •   Professional business portrait or product shots
    
  •   Spaceworks alumni meet-ups, and events
    
  •   Support for grand-openings and other major milestones
    
  •   Commercial lease support
