Western Washington Poets Network Reading

The Western Washington Poets Network celebrates the recent publication of two anthologies, Examined Life: A Western Washington Poets Network Anthology and Good Word Walking, Friday, July 19, 7:00 – 9:00 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 7701 Skansie Ave, Gig Harbor. The reading is hosted by Gig Harbor resident and former Tacoma Poet Laureate Josie Emmons Turner; she will be joined by poets David Post, Lori Bellamy, Griffith H. Williams, Tami Gatzke, Bruce Steward, Mary Elixa Crane and Alison Peacock. An open mic will follow the featured readers. Sign up begins at 6:30.

The anthologies were hand set by printmaker, Griffith Williams, on a press over 100 years old. Each page was individually printed. The anthology embodies the breath of voice and talent of regional poets.
