The Peninsula Art League’s March 25 meeting features Seattle
artist Ned Mueller, who will show his best work in oil, pastels and gouache
from the last 30 years. Mueller will talk about his process of painting
from concepts in studies to finished paintings, both studio work, models and
plein air, including landscapes, portraits and figures. View his original works and
note that some will be available for purchase.
The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. with social hour and refreshments,
followed at 6:30 by the general meeting and the demo. The location is
the Gig Harbor United Methodist Church, 7400 Pioneer way in
Gig Harbor.
Mueller’s accolades are many, including the status of “Master Artist”
with the Oil Painters of America. He is a Signature member of
Plein Air Painters of America, NW Pastel Society, and the American
Society of Marine Artists.
Peninsula Art League welcomes all who are interested in the visual
arts. The meetings are always free.
