"RENEWAL: Historic Roots and Artistic Growth" Juried Art Exhibition Contact: Allison Hyde, Arts Program Supervisor ahyde@auburnwa.gov<mailto:ahyde@auburnwa.gov> FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: May 18, 2023 __________ "RENEWAL: Historic Roots and Artistic Growth" Juried Art Exhibition The City of Auburn's new art center gallery in the historic 1937 post office building will feature a group exhibition titled "RENEWAL: Historic Roots and Artistic Growth" in summer 2023, which seeks to showcase artworks by PNW artists representing imagery and ideas of trees, branches, and similar growth through nature. Applications are requested from visual artists and/or artist groups residing in Washington State working in two-dimensional or wall-mounted three-dimensional media to exhibit their work at the City of Auburn's new art center gallery. DEADLINE APPROACHING! Application deadline: May 25, 2023 at 10:59 PM (Pacific Time) Exhibition timeframe: July-September 2023, dates are TBD. Eligibility Established and emerging Washington State artists and/or artist groups working in two-dimensional or wall-mounted three-dimensional media will be considered. All artwork must be delivered in person. All work must be mounted or framed and securely wired (or with D-rings) and ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers accepted).
