Getting excited for Ocean Fest weekend? So are we! Keep reading for the ultimate guide for how to make the most of the illuminated Lantern Paddle, artsy Beach Cleanup and of course, the free one-day Festival!
Click on each button for schedule, directions, parking and how YOU can become a part of this beloved Tacoma festival to celebrate, learn about and protect our ocean.

Lantern Paddle for Species: 7-10pm June 2 (Foss Waterway Seaport)
Beach Clean-Up: 10am-12pm June 3 (Les Davis Pier)
Festival: 10am-5pm June 4 (Foss Waterway Seaport)

Marine Biologist Beachwalks: 11am-12pm June 17 (Dash Point Beach) and 18 (Titlow Beach)
Swan Creek Cleanup: 10am-12pm June 24 (Swan Creek Park)

The Lantern Paddle for Species isn't just pretty lanterns on the water - it's a chance for YOU to celebrate and protect endangered species. Make a DIY lantern, get inspired by steel pan and flute, watch an aerialist and dance to a DJ. Bring your kayak/SUP or watch from shore. 7-11pm Fri June 2.                PADDLE INFO                      ## Beach trash & treasure

Pick up trash at the Beach Cleanup AND hunt for a handblown glass egg to keep! Then return to make a trash whale mural, vibe to live Hawaiian music, meet our South Sound Surfrider partners and know you've made the ocean a better place for everyone. 10am-12pm Sat June 3.                CLEANUP INFO                      ## Art! Music! Dance!

Our Festival day is a one-day wonder of ocean art, music, dance, circus, poetry, hands-on science and FUN! Don't miss the kayak tryouts, food trucks and dockside boat tours. Full schedule now online. 10am-5pm Sun. June 4.                EXPLORE PERFORMERS                      ## OceanX Talks

This year we have three dynamic OceanX speakers: biologist Ebony Welborn from Sea Potential, conservationaist Brady Bradshaw from the Center for Biodiversity and our lead artist River Meschi. 11:30am, 1:15pm and 3:30pm Sun June 4.                OCEANX TALKS                      ## Eco-booths & science

Do sea star science, chalk trees on the esplanade, discover ways to live sustainably for our ocean...Ocean Fest's 20+ Eco-Booths will be along the Esplanade (and inside), ready to explore with hands-on fun. Stamp your Ocean Action card at each to win prizes! 10-4:30pm Sun June 4.                FIND ECO-BOOTHS                      ## Food trucks & fun

We have four fabulous food trucks at Ocean Fest on Sunday, and a cash bar at the Friday Lantern Paddle. Plus free kayaking, face painting, art-making and more.
