"Stations of the Cross" refer to the illustration of Jesus' final hours. Originally, the tradition was a chapel devotion developed by the Roman Catholic Church. However, the stations are now being used in many other traditions. There are a variety of ways to represent the Stations of the Cross, but there are usually 14 total pictures or sculptures showing the scenes of Jesus' final hours. Urban Grace's Stations of the Cross starts with the Lord's Supper and ends with the resurrection. Each of our 14 pieces was created by a different community artist with their own unique style and interpretation. We hope that this diversity will help viewers to reflect more deeply on what is one of the most important seasons for the Christian Church worldwide.
