Everyone welcome! Sweet's exhibit is on display in the Tacoma Community College Gig Harbor Gallery through March 17, 2023. Myong Sweet is from South Korea and has lived in the United States for over thirty-five years. Myong enjoys painting all types of subject matter and keeps pushing herself to learn different techniques and styles. Sweet has been a member of the Korean American Artists Association of Washington (KAAW) for eight years and is currently serving as their Vice President. And for the last four years she has also been a member of the Artists United Club of Burien. Sweet teaches art and currently has three classes. She has been teaching a class at the Asia Pacific Cultural Center in Tacoma for the last seven years. She also has two additional classes at other locations. Her students range from beginners to accomplished artists.
