THE DASH CENTER PRESENTS...”TRENT SHELTON...SUMMER’S HERE BUT SCHOOL’S NOT OUT”!!!
MAY 28, 2013 6-9PM @STADIUM HIGH SCHOOL
It's definitely ReHab Time Tacoma! And who better to administer therapy than Mr ReHab himself, Trent Shelton.
Born into the world on September 21, 1984, in Little Rock, Arkansas and raised in New Orleans, Trent Shelton as a child believed he was destined to be athlete, not knowing that his athleticism was simply the key opening doors for him to live out his purpose. In 2002, Trent signed a letter of intent to play football for Baylor University, where he had a successful football career and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Communications, and was quickly approached by NFL teams and agents. In 2007, Trent signed with Indianapolis Colts. During his NFL career, Trent Shelton also played with the Washington Redskins, and Seattle Seahawks.
It was during the climax of his NFL career, when facing obstacles and adversities, Shelton felt a change was needed within his mind, body and soul. Trent then had an epiphany and told himself, "Today I'm getting rid of everything toxic in my life, and giving my life back to God". Through sharing his testimony as a way to inspire others, RehabTime was born. RehabTime.org now serves a worldwide community that instinctively promotes change for the better by uplifting, empowering, and demonstrating that "change starts with you", from the inside out.
All too often, as youth we dream through sports, entertainment, and the arts. But no matter how talented, it is important to nourish the mind to secure a future through education and motivation. Don't miss your opportunity for both motivation and education!
This event is free to all public school aged youth! Parents and other adults, Trent has message and motivation for you too! Make it a family event!!
Youth (18 and under) Free, door only. ** Teenagers must present school ID **
