Drawing II - Mercer Island
6 Wednesdays, Sept 18-Oct 30, 10:15am-12:15pm, $150 (no class Oct. 23)
Small group sessions take place in a supportive and fun atmosphere. We'll begin with a sketch and apply values and textures to make your drawings come alive. Principals of composition and perspective will be practiced by drawing both indoor and outdoor scenes. Plan to incorporate color washes or chalk pastel into some drawings.

Art classes at the PNW Salmon Center integrate earth science and art, and promote environmental stewardship. This summer hailed the completion of, The Dinner Bell - Wagner Family Cookbook . . . a memoir of recipes, photos, paintings and anecdotes I compiled over the last year. If you're interested, drop me a line, or click the book for a preview.
The painting at left is by a former high school student (name unknown). She designed motifs inspired by nature and repeated them in colorful patterns throughout the composition.
