Start Tacoma Arts Month off with a kaleidoscope of music and dance performances, hands-on activities, visual art, and more at this free, family friendly, community festival! Enjoy appetizers and no-host bar while we honor the 2022 AMOCAT Arts Award winners and funding recipients. Presented by the Tacoma Arts Commission in partnership with Metro Parks Tacoma.

Enjoy a stellar line-up of entertainment including:

  • Performances by Metro Arts Tacoma, Tacoma Poet Laureate Lydia K. Valentine, Asia Pacific Cultural Center, Tamiko Nimura, Alex Vile, Vision Step Team, The Playground Kiki
  • Photo booth by Truth Koroi
  • Visual art by Permaculture Lifestyle Institute, Mauricio Robalino, and Rachel Heimbigner
  • Interactive projects by Write253 / Line Break Press, Suzanne Skaar, Safe Routes to School, and EnviroChallenger
  • Cooking demonstration by Chef Holly
  • Appetizers by Jan Parker Cookery and a no-host bar
