When did you become such a grown-up?!

Ever since we decided to form the Creative Lotus Tribe, we’ve learned a lot
about creativity.

And one of the biggest things we’ve learned is that most of us are far
more creative than we let ourselves be!

When you were a child, your creative spirit was always demanding to be fed
-- and you were happy to feed it. You drew, danced, sang, played with clay,
built forts out of dirt and castles out of sand. You put on crazy costumes
and ran around yelling.

That creative spirit never went away. You still have it as strong as
ever. But it doesn’t feel like you do. Why?

Because as you grew to adulthood, other demands took priority in your life.

The demand to fit in.
The demand to protect yourself.

The demand to be responsible.

Now, none of these are bad things. They’re perfectly natural and useful.
But when they become so strong that they crush the spontaneity, creativity
and joy out of you...that’s a problem. You have to make sure they stick to
their proper place in your life, so you can live a balanced existence that
makes room for being distinctive, open-hearted, and free spirited.
Basically,* the room to be authentically YOU!*

That’s a big part of what and why we teach our Painting Prana Experience.
If you live in or near Tacoma and can join us on June 1st, you won’t want
to miss it! Really!

P.S. Here's what one of our students said about her Painting Prana
Experience:

Dear Angela and Angi,

I am so grateful to you both for creating an event that was so much fun
for adults!  You both made it sosafe to express ourselves in an utterly
free fashion.  I mean I don't even remember when, as an adult, I've felt
that kind of fun, freedom and non-judgement all mixed together.  And most
of all, the exuberance of full self-expression.  I mean wow, what a gift!

Many thanks!

We believe every human being on the planet is inherently creative and
powerful.

*
We believe life is about the journey and living is about the process.

We believe that movement, meditation, and art give us access to our truest
self and together can transform our very way of being.

It is this that transforms the entire world, one step, one breath, one
brushstroke at a time.*
