> Greetings everyone!
>
> I am so very excited for this new 2013/2014 DASH year!! A lot of new things are on the horizon and amazing growth is inevitable. It of course starts with our amazing staff. You'll see some familiar faces but some new exciting instructors lending their talent to our classrooms. Crystal Smith, our ballet teacher will continue to teach ballet, but has added Director of Dance to her role at DASH. Ms Kelly Smith has taken over as our Operations Manager. Look forward to more efficiency in scheduling, billing, and timing! Help us welcome our new Artistic Director, Shelia Scott!! Michael Cole, Jr will continue in his role as Director of Music and Scooter as AOHH Director.

> Everyone is invited to the ZULU NATION BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT being held at DASH this Saturday 12-5p. There are TONS of free school supplies that have been donated and are ready to be distributed to our DASH families and students. Registration will take place during this event 12-3p.

> First day of classes are SEPTEMBER 9th!! Please join us during one of our six registration sessions to assure your place in your class of choice. Remember, we must have at least 5 per class to continue. There will be no mini Hip Hop classes this quarter, but pre-dance classes still available for ages 4-6. Registration sessions will be: Thursday and Friday (August 29,30 & Sept 5,6) 5-8pm and Saturday (Aug 31 and Sept 7) 12-3p. There is an one-time annual registration of $50 per student at the DASH Center. Registration fee must be paid before classes can be scheduled. Families that enroll more than one student will receive discount on tuition.
>
> Returning students...WELCOME BACK!!! Returning TIP students, we are excited to welcome Ms. Tiffany Sanders as your Hip Hop instructor. Please note the Elementary HIP HOP on the schedule. As many TIP students as possible, please attend this Saturday's Back to School/registration event. If you have outgrown your leotard and ballet slippers, please return them Saturday. We will size you and get new ones ordered.
>
> Middle and High School students interested in participating in the intensive Performing Arts Excellence Project (PAEP) should obtain a registration form at DASH and submit ASAP. You can also complete the interest form online and you will be contacted to schedule an audition and interview. Returning PAEP students, please register this week so we can get you fully enrolled in your tract classes.

> I know this was a long email. Thank you for baring with me and reading through all of it. Last thing: Our landlords have decided they would like to do something different with the space that has been the DASH Center for the last 7 years!! Unfortunately, as of November 30, we will no longer be at 1504 MLK Jr Way. Where we are moving exactly, I have no idea YET!! I want to reassure everyone that our move will be seamless, however. We will be closed November 24-December 2. We will return December 3 in our new space. In the meantime, I will be asking all of you, my parents, to help DASH build it's donor base so as to support this move. There will be more information coming this month.
