Vik Muniz helped change Brazil’s view of waste pickers and cultivated awareness about the importance of sustainable waste management after creating artistic portraits from recyclable garbage found in the largest landfill in Rio de Janeiro. And our guest artist, Carrie Ziegler, has used art and education to help community members better understand waste management and how it impacts our planet. At this event, Eco Art for Earth, we will explore how artists can individually and collectively impact change and help preserve our planet for future generations.
