We are a group of talented, creative women of all ages, backgrounds, and
writing levels; we explore and celebrate our selves, our histories, and our
community through creative writing projects; we empower each other through
refining the writing we use in everyday life. We are driven to speak and
challenge the women we once knew ourselves to be, asking one another to be
greater than before and to speak out for those who cannot or will not speak.

On September 21, Join the Hilltop Women's Writing Collective!

Meet for Your Soul

"We are only exhausted when talking to other people if we do not meet
them--when one or both of us are hiding behind screens."

-De Castillejo. Knowing Woman: A Feminine Psychology

The parameters and the pulp that characterize the instance you connect
with another person, what Irene Claremont de Castillejo describes as
a "meeting", vary in the ebbing and flowing tides of your life. Meetings
can be numerous but momentary, rare but lifelong, passionate but
uncomfortably distant, defiantly close, or...

With all of the potential characteristics, one experience is regarded
constant, rejuvenation.

On Saturday, September 21, explore the meetings of your past with the
wonderful women of the Collective and increase your potential of meeting someone
in the group.

At the Collective, we are female-identified writers throughout Tacoma, who
celebrate our creative visions and write! Whether you think of yourself as
a writer or not, come and be with our group as we explore the art of
storytelling with each other.
