Hello Art and Science Reporters:

The innovative Art+Science Salon in Tacoma, started by Siddharth Ramakrishnan, a New York/Los Angeles neuroscientist who joined the faculty of University of Puget Sound, is going back to its roots.

The Oct. 17 salon will feature 5 artists and 5 scientists for 5 minutes each. The theme will be Elements. Each will talk about their work at the intersection of art and science and invite audience participation. The last salon in this format was a hit.

Do come and see the cutting edge of a global movement that aims to bring science closer to the people through the accessible "language" of art.

Thursday, October 17th, 6-8pm, Third Thursday @ Tacoma Art Museum.    All the best,  Shirley Skeel sskeel@pugetsound.edumailto:sskeel@pugetsound.edu  253.879.2611
