5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Seymour Conservatory316 South G Street, Tacoma
Come celebrate Bike Month with Tacoma Tree Foundation on this unique tour
of Tacoma’s neighborhood trees, where we will pedal and map a few of our
Monkey Puzzle and Sequoia trees. We will learn about the many ways these
prehistoric trees have been incorporated into our urban landscape, consider
their future in our changing climate and growing city, and ponder their
cultural significance, both in our community and abroad. This is a no-drop
ride and will happen rain or shine.
Meeting Point: Entrance of the W.W. Seymour Conservatory at Wright Park.
Ride will depart promptly at 5:30PM
Please dress comfortably and according to the weather forecast. Bring sun
and rain protection, a water bottle, snacks, and anything else you need to
stay focused and happy.
This event is possible thanks to Tacoma Creates.
