      Acrylic Faux Encaustics is a beautiful and non- toxic way to create memorable surface texture.  I was first drawn to this technique when the wax encaustic I had been using was unhealthy to use in my new windowless studio.  I read publications and tried other artist’s acrylic mixtures, but became very disappointed with the results.  Thus, I have developed my own formulas, which I would like to share with you.
