Blue Cactus Press and the Center for Indigenous Midwifery are offering an
upcoming workshop called Laying Down Stories, a space for BIPOC birthing
folks and families to reflect on and process their birth experiences in
community.
Many of us carry birth stories that live in our bodies long after the
experience — stories about what we wish we had known, how our bodies
changed, or how we were (or weren’t) supported. This workshop offers guided
reflection, writing, and discussion to help participants identify and
release storylines that no longer serve them, and to be witnessed in a
supportive, culturally-centered space.
In-person workshop: April 7, 10–11:30am in Tacoma, WA.
