The Peninsula Art League's January 28th meeting
features Anne Knapp who demonstrates the art of "Notan".
The meeting will be held at the Gig Harbor United Methodist Church, 7400
Pioneer Way.
Social Time and Refreshments begin at 5:30 p.m. The business meeting and
demo begin at 6:30 p.m.
"Notan is a Japanese based art philosophy of positive
and negative, and dark and light and how they relate,"
Knapp explains.
Knapp offers a hands-on experience using Notan to
create a simple Valentine.
Our meetings are typically held on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
All are welcome and our meetings are free!
