Happy New Year Tacoma Friends!
The Northwest EcoBuilding Guild wants to make 2016  “The Year of the Innovator!” Green Building Innovators are a virtual “R&D Department” for tomorrow’s building industry, pushing the envelope with new designs, materials and technology that make it easier to build green.
Think:  Greywater recycling, Net-zero energy design, and strawbale construction; rainwater harvesting, cross-laminated timber construction, and zoning codes for tiny home villages! … Just a few of the innovative practices pioneered by EcoBuilders!

The Code Innovations Database needs your support to empower innovators by sharing more of their proven solutions and valuable data from 20+ years of pioneering work.  Why?  Because these innovators still face an uphill climb and regulatory hurdles that can slow or even stop their best ideas from being adopted more broadly.

Your support will help us expand our successful education platform into a national resource, so we can put successful permitting precedents into the hands of every code official in the Northwest, and builders nationwide. Can you help us reach our goal?

Since December 1st we’ve raised $21,000 toward our $40,000 goal to expand the Code Innovations Database.  We’re more than halfway there…

Please take a moment now to give as much as you can so we can start this year off strong!  And invite others to join you to help expand innovation!

And while you’re at it, please enjoy the latest videos, radio and blog posts in our “Gems of Innovation Series” at www.CodeInnovations.org.

Please Donate Today and help us meet our big goal to expand the Code Innovations Database in 2016!!

Please Note:  If you’d rather not use a credit card online, you can always send us a check instead and we’ll log it as an “offline donation” toward the campaign.  If you choose that option, please email me and let me know so we can publicly acknowledge you!

Sincerely,

Chris van Daalen, Principal Investigator
