HSB was the brainchild of former Hawaii resident Don Yoder who has spent years researching and publishing a compendium of traditional Hawaiian songs.  Don’s vocals (often in the Hawaiian language) and ukulele playing are supported by guitarist Rich Nakada (a Hawaiian native) and bassist Tom Brooks (a veteran of several local jazz combos).  Together, this trio serves up a tasty meal of happy, toe-tapping music that will make your inner child shed the shoes and splash along the shores of palm-lined beaches.
