Tacoma Poet Laureate Celebration and Reading Please join the Tacoma Arts Commission and current Tacoma Poet Laureate, Josie Emmons Turner, for a poetry reading event in conjunction with National Poetry Month. The event will include readings by a selection of local poets and the winner of the 2013-15 Tacoma Poet Laureate competition, Lucas Smiraldo, will officially be awarded the position. The readings will be followed by light refreshments.
