December 7th at 6:30 pm Creative Colloquy presents The Writers’s Workshop Series: Writing (A) Present: Using Writing And Meditation To Make A Gift facilitated by Tamiko Nimura and Allison Muir.
A written present can be one of the most meaningful gifts someone can receive, and creating such a present can also give just as much to the writer. In this workshop we’ll look at written presents for someone else (a loved one, a friend, a parent or child, a pet). We’ll play with forms of letters, poetry, music, and journaling. Parts of the class will involve guided meditation—being present to write a present—led by Tacoma Community College professor and meditation guide Allison Muir.
This event is free to attend but space is limited and registration is required. Register HERE: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/writing-a-present-using-writing-and-meditation-to-make-a-gift-tickets-209041858827
