Tacoma Art Museum seeks a local artist to lead the "Optical Illusions" workshop on Saturday, December 7 from 10 am-1 pm, details below. The workshop is in conjunction with the exhibition Optic Nerve: The Art of Perception. The art instructor will be responsible for developing and leading a hands-on art lesson that relates to optical illusions. The museum will cover all necessary supplies. Optical Illusions Saturday, December 7, 10 am-1 pm The works featured in Optic Nerve explore idea about visual and spatial perception. Join us to explore the exhibition and to create art of pulsating patterns, eye-dazzling colors, and disorienting forms. Cost: $35 ($25 for members) covers one adult with or without child. Cost of admission for each additional child is $10. Teachers can earn up to three clock hours.
