Tacoma Art Museum seeks a local artist to lead the "Optical Illusions"
workshop on Saturday, December 7 from 10 am-1 pm, details below. The
workshop is in conjunction with the exhibition Optic Nerve: The Art of
Perception. The art instructor will be responsible for developing and
leading a hands-on art lesson that relates to optical illusions. The
museum will cover all necessary supplies.

The works featured in Optic Nerve explore idea about visual and spatial
perception. Join us to explore the exhibition and to create art of
pulsating patterns, eye-dazzling colors, and disorienting forms. Cost:
$35 ($25 for members) covers one adult with or without child. Cost of
admission for each additional child is $10. Teachers can earn up to
three clock hours. Please note that projects are geared for an adult
audience
