Thinking of learning something new this summer?  Have you always wanted to try making pottery on a potters wheel?

We still have openings available in our evening pottery classes starting next week!  Our classes are from 6 to 8:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays.  We also have 2 spots open in our Saturday morning class.

Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, we teach to your level and help you to achieve your goals. Some of our students want to learn the wheel and some want to work on hand building projects, such as tiles for their home.

The $168 registration fee includes instruction for 2-1/2 hours per week, plus an ADDITIONAL 2-1/2 hours of open studio time each week to practice and work on your pottery.  It also includes 25# of clay plus glazes and firing of your pieces (up to 20 items).  A basic pottery toolkit is required and available for purchase if you don’t already have tools.

Here’s what one of our students wrote:  “I have greatly enjoyed this class. My husband and I have taken a series of pottery classes before. So, we didn't know if this would be worth it or not. It was. I was very pleased with Mark's instructions and the studio. I would say the studio is tiny but mighty. I appreciate Marks approach. He is very thorough and uses a methodology that I have not seen before. If you follow his instructions, you are somewhat guaranteed success.”

If you’re not ready to commit to 6 weeks or just want something to do with a friend, we also offer a 2-hour “Try It” class for $60/each.  You get basic instruction on the pottery wheel and we help you form a bowl or 2.  Pick out the glaze color you want and we’ll trim and fire it for you to pick up later.  Call us to schedule a time that works for you.

Stop by our studio this week and reserve your spot!
