Dear Tacoma Art Community, Energize Tacoma <https://www.energizetacoma.org/> is excited to announce the official launch of Energize Tacoma's Black Contemporaries program, designed to amplify and celebrate the voices and works of Black artists in our city. This initiative follows the recent success of our Canvas Art Collective <https://www.energizetacoma.org/canvasartcollective>, which brought together a diverse group of artists to create impactful and stunning works of art. With Black Contemporaries, we aim to provide a dedicated platform for Black artists to showcase their talents, share their unique stories, and engage with the Tacoma community. The Black Contemporaries art gallery will be located inside the Tacoma Urban League <https://www.thetacomaurbanleague.org/>. We invite Black artists to apply by submitting their name, contact information, and digital uploads of their artworks through the link provided below. Additionally, artists can include their social media profiles to further connect with our community. ⭐Please note, we are seeking prints rather than the original pieces.
