Greta Matassa, Thomas Marriot among headliners at Pierce College Jazz Expo
PUYALLUP, WASH. – Artists on the national jazz scene will perform and offer mini-workshops at the Pierce College Jazz Expo on Sunday, June 2.
The event will be at the college’s Puyallup campus. Tickets are just $10.
Artists scheduled to perform include: Thomas Marriot Sextet (Tribute to Art Blakey), Greta Matassa quartet, McTuff, Pierce College Jazz Ensemble and Pete Christlieb Quartet.
Musicians of all abilities and ages, as well as non-musicians, may attend the workshops. Musicians are welcome to bring their instruments to the clinic because some clinicians may ask students toparticipate.
Clinics will go on simultaneously with performances, so plan accordingly.
