|  And that's a wrap for another incredibly successful Tacoma Light Trail!
🤩 We spent 7 weeks bringing joy to dark times, bringing our community together and lighting up our city with:
🐉 3 neighborhood Dragon Parades & Satellights, 4 library Lantern Workshops, 50 downtown light art displays, 50 songs or poems on the Sound Trail, 4 outdoor light events (including the most fabulous New Year's Eve!!), 3 indoor Lumens concerts and a ton of livestreaming and online art.
🎉 Around 4,000 of you came in person to be the light, and many thousands more visited online. 🌟 44 of you lit up bikes to join us on the Lighted Bike Ride.
💃🏽 We supported 100+ artists and performers from a huge range of backgrounds - most of them local.
💜 And we encouraged everyone to explore downtown and support businesses there.
Tacoma - we're so proud. Let's keep this going. Bring the light! BE THE LIGHT! 💛💛  |

Statement of Gratitude: We acknowledge the land on which we share light, art and story is the traditional home of the Coast Salish Peoples, including Puyallup, Duwamish, Tulalip, Muckleshoot, and Suquamish tribal nations. We are grateful to the original caretakers of this land who are still here. Along with our gratitude is our commitment to the ongoing work of uplifting Native communities, and to protecting the land and resources that sustain us all.
