With the temperatures soaring, the Washington State History Museum is opening its doors for free on Tuesday, July 9, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, serving as a community cooling center. We invite all community members to explore the exhibitions in a cool, air-conditioned environment with access to water. Centrally located in Downtown Tacoma, the museum is just minutes from Interstate 5 and easily accessible by multiple modes of public transportation. Tacoma Link Light Rail – Union Station, and Pierce Transit – Pacific Avenue & S 19th Street bus stop are just steps from the Museum entrance.
