The Mountain Valley Arts juried art show reception is tonight, Thursday, from 5:30-7:30 in the Premier Gallery, Puyallup Activity Center, 210 W. Main in Puyallup.  Everyone is welcome to come, meet and talk to the 15 artists who are participating in this show.   The show has been juried by Carolyn Burt , owner/operator/artist of the Proctor Gallery located in the Northend of Tacoma.  The best of show winners are:  Sallie Zydek with "Polar Bears" (Drawing); Marie Bunker with "Silent Camp" (Oil/Acrylic); Juanita Beecroft with "Summer Solace" (Watercolor); and Barbara Waid with "Mountain Lake" (Miniature).  Alexandra Haley received an Honorable Mention for "Sweet Peas" (Computer).  Other ribbons were also awarded.   The Mountain Valley Arts club show will continue through September 4, 2013.
