*Tacoma youth theatre auditions this weekend* *Tacoma Youth Theatre to hold free auditions for the next round of -- pay-what-you-can --after-school productions.* Tacoma, WA , April 9, 2014 - Tacoma Youth Theatre, Tacoma's all-youth theatre company, is holding FREE auditions for young actors ages 5 -18 for PETER PAN and THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE. The auditions will be held Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th starting at 2:00 pm with THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE and at 4:00 pm with PETER PAN. The auditions are being held at Tacoma Youth Theatre's innovative new facility located at 924 B Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98403. *About After School Productions:* Our after-school productions are designed for an all-youth cast. Younger actors usually play younger characters while teenage actors often play adult characters. During after-school programs, we focus a lot on our core values and actively collaborate to maintain a kind and nurturing learning environment. With each new cast, we explore the basics of acting, staging, and work very intentionally to learn and follow good theatre etiquette. After school productions usually perform over the course of one weekend, and are open to the public. The cost to participate in the production is $300.00 PAY WHAT YOU CAN.
