You're Invited to a Ground Breaking Event!
Thursday, September 5 at Tacoma Art Museum
Be a part of history and celebrate with us as we break ground for Tacoma
Art Museum's building expansion and redesign. The new wing will house
the Haub Family Collection of Western American Art, and the newly
designed front entrance will create improved accessibility, increased
visibility, and beautiful spaces for outdoor art.
Admission to Tacoma Art Museum will be free Thursday, September 5, in
celebration of the groundbreaking ceremony.
10 am Paul G. Allen Family Foundation Plaza
Ceremonies begin with a blessing by the Puyallup Tribe and a performance
by the Puyallup Canoe Family.

Guests enjoy the songs of Horse Crazy Cowgirl Band and try their hand at
roping a "steer" on the museum's plaza.
