SATURDAY'S 2013 OCEANIC FESTIVUS Sept 28 Create with us a new tradition for Tacoma, an expression of our spirit in a procession of lights certain to raise our spirits and joyfully bring in Autumn. Sculpture and luminaria are hoisted and carried through the streets, accompanied with music and whatever the people desire to bring in an Oceanic theme. We assemble at 7:15 at the Wright Park conservatory and proceed through downtown's Theater District to the library at Sanford & Son, via the Spanish Steps. This is a family-friendly event with no cover and no costs, sales or vendors - we do this for the joy of assembly with friends like family, celebrating the life we share in common throughout the South Puget Sound.
