"In this workshop, our goal is to enhance participants’ “decolonial
literacy” skills from an Indigenous perspective," say the facilitators of
the workshop. "We aim to help individuals recognize how erasure and settler
supremacy manifest in our workplaces, schools, and daily lives. Developing
the ability to identify and analyze these dynamics is essential for
supporting tribal sovereignty and resurgence. Participants will engage in
critical dialogues, reflections, and hands-on activities. They will also
receive tools and resources to continue their learning and advance their
personal or community work related to Indigenous issues."
