Tonight is 3rd Thursday Art Mingle and we’ll be open until 8:00 pm! Our new “Paint Your Own Pottery” studio is also open tonight for anyone who would like to create their own masterpiece. We have a large selection of pottery items to choose from, including mugs, bowls, plates, banks, boxes and figures. How about painting a jack-o-lantern for Halloween, or a new Trick-or-Treat candy bowl? The process is simple: choose a pottery item to paint, use your own creativity to decorate it as you like, leave it with us to glaze and fire then pick it up in 7 days. We feature artwork from about 80 different artists, mostly from the Pacific Northwest area. In the gallery, we have new work from potters, Craig Martell, Andrew Deem, Rhoda Fleischman, James Martinson and Quinn Bougher. With our expanded gallery space, we have brought in work from several new artists, including fused glass by Raquel (Bainbridge Island), soda fired vases by Sandra Mander (Seattle), and carved tiles by Wilburton Pottery (Bellevue).
