The Tacoma Refugee Choir will be hosting a new Community Singalong series
starting this Friday, September 20th at 7pm at Tahoma Unitarian
Universalist Congregation at 1115 S. 56th St. These relaxed fun events
use the power of music to strengthen community and include a live band,
games, laughter, refreshments and of course singing. All are welcome to
come join in the fun! No musical experience or preparation is required and
the format makes it easy to get involved, have fun, and meet other members
of your community.
This first Community Singalong is part of Welcoming Week and will be emceed
by community leader Kimsang Lor. The band features Terry O'Hara, Princess
Guinto, John Hargis and Mike Reznick.

This event is the first of a new monthly series of Community Singalongs on
the third Friday of each month. The series of six events are made possible
by a generous grant from the City of Tacoma South End Neighborhood Council.
