We are so proud of how our city’s creative eco-system played a role in uplifting our community over the last year. The City of Tacoma’s Office of Arts & Cultural Vitality provides financial support to cultural workers and organizations, and their work creates opportunities for people across the city to access and participate in Tacoma’s rich cultural life. This work is part of our collective well-being. Throughout our 2020 Annual Reporthttp://cms.cityoftacoma.org/CEDD/TacomaCulture/arts/TA_TAC_20YearInReview_FullReport.pdf are examples of how organizations and individuals identified needs, pivoted their programming, reached out across sectors, and cared for our community. As we evolve, we look to the creatives and the culture bearers to help shine the light on our humanity and our potential, even as we are physically distanced. Below is an overview; you can read the full 2020 Annual Report herehttp://cms.cityoftacoma.org/CEDD/TacomaCulture/arts/TA_TAC_20YearInReview_FullReport.pdf.
