Hello! This weekend September 16th, Clay Art Center will be hosting a ceramics workshop featuring one of our favorite vendors GR POTTERY FORMS. Jeff from GR FORMS will be in town and hosting two in-depth, hands on workshops showing folks how to work with GR FORMS unique drape mold system. This system is an excellent low barrier of entry method to making functional pieces such as plates, bowls, platters, and much more. All of these forms utilize slab clay and hand building techniques, no wheel required! Highly recommended for teachers and educators. When? We have two different time slots for workshops this Saturday: 9am and 1pm. Admittance is $75 to attend and the workshop will last approximately 2hrs each. Guests will receive 10% off their purchase of GR FORMS while in store on Saturday. What do I need to bring? Guests need to bring a flexible silicone rib (such as a Mudtool rib), a fettling knife and any of your favorite stamps and texture tools to decorate with.
