Meet the

When I retired from my day job for the love of paint I promised myself that
I would keep the joy in my work.  For me that means I must follow my
creative urges to see where they lead me.  Boredom means death to creativity
for me."

"The urge for chunky paint and visible brush strokes led me from watercolor
to acrylic paint.  Until now my painting has always had an impressionistic,
painterly quality with a discernable subject matter.  I began pushing my
work in a more abstract direction and wavered there on the cusp and then I
just went over the edge.  Most recently I have been doing abstract,
non-objective paintings that attempt to make a statement with shape and
color."
