They are gathering data in order to be able to better inform artists of their care options under the Affordable Care Act. This is a critical moment to capture baseline data from US artists about their access to health insurance – the last day to participate is this Saturday, Aug 31. Nonprofit artists advocacy groups are conducting an online survey from July 17 – Aug 31 to assess how many US-based artists have health insurance on the eve of the Affordable Care Act. These results will contribute to a body of research that aims to provide artists with accessible information about their care options.
