Six Weeks Left! There are only six weeks left to submit your vision of a positive climate future to this year's Spring Youth Climate Festival. What does your vision of a positive climate future look like? Is it filled with alternative energy, walkable neighborhoods and plants growing off buildings? Or high-tech solutions that bring communities together around common issues? 14-22 year olds are invited to submit videos, photos, art, written words, and more representations that bring us into the world they envision to the festival's Art Competition. For those who are taking climate action or are just starting to think about it, this is the perfect opportunity to share what you're doing to bring us into a positive climate future with a wider community! A juried exhibition of student climate storytelling across multiple art forms including visual art, film, spoken and written word, and performance 2. A Climate Action Poster Symposium, where students present real-world actions they have taken individually or collaboratively 3. Live performances, screenings, and discussions with students that encourage dialogue and connection 4. Opportunities for learning, reflection, and peer-to-peer inspiration The festival welcomes students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Projects may be personal or collective, local or global, and do not require prior artistic or scientific knowledge. The festival prioritizes creativity, authenticity, and reflection over technical perfection. By centering student voices, the festival aims to build an understanding of climate change, foster hope and agency to act, and create a space where stories and actions come together to inspire change.
