As a preliminary step in the development of this initiative, ArtsWA is compiling a list of organizations and teaching artists that are currently providing arts services to older adults in Washington State. We will use this information to assist in the creation and implementation of a training for teaching artists who are serving older adults (including working with older people in contexts of intergenerational or family/kinship projects). The teaching artist training will be offered online in early 2022.

We'd appreciate you taking a few minutes (5-7mins) to answer a brief online survey to help us to identify the teaching artists, cultural creatives and arts and culture organizations who are serving older people in your region. You can access the survey by clicking here: https://forms.gle/JpTKntAAjZqdf43B7https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https*3A*2F*2Furldefense.com*2Fv3*2F__https*3A*2Fforms.gle*2FJpTKntAAjZqdf43B7__*3B!!CRCbkf1f!BFH8uHNV1Z6mQIL50HNhzBV7Q9nhLdqUE3jmqoDV8kYhkBg8ghSUIeV9NjpbltOq3FKgjyYH*24&data=04*7C01*7Cmiguel.guillen*40arts.wa.gov*7C8e07b41839094db8d7eb08d9a85fd9e9*7C11d0e217264e400a8ba057dcc127d72d*7C0*7C0*7C637725951912883323*7CUnknown*7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0*3D*7C3000&sdata=DqqZOljMgEKANd6YovsVN7u9HwKU6TSRTFa713wWLkE*3D&reserved=0__;JSUlJSUlJSUlJSUlJSUlJSUlJSUlJSU!!CRCbkf1f!Cl5ZwUgyvxxwL7LjIVyA86122QdEuaCuwTo_bSm-tusp9qPmvcDEr0RSQVH7yp0H_sA$

We also want to hear about your needs and learn how the arts and research-vetted creative aging programs can support those whom you serve currently or hope to serve in the near future. Please forward this email to any others who would be able to give us input.

Thank you for helping us to maximize inclusion and representation of all older and elder people in WA state, including those diverse in culture, education, economic resources, health, geographic location and prior arts /creative experience.

If you would prefer a conversation or have questions, please feel free to contact us at: creativeaging.artswa@gmail.commailto:creativeaging.artswa@gmail.com
