We are a group of talented, creative women of all ages, backgrounds, and writing levels; we explore and celebrate our selves, our histories, and our community through creative writing projects; we empower each other through refining the writing we use in everyday life. We are driven to speak and challenge the women we once knew ourselves to be, asking one another to be greater than before and to speak out for those who cannot or will not speak. *On August 17, Chiara Wood leads the Hilltop Women's Writing Collective!* When we write, we speak from something unique to ourselves. No one else has your "voice". Have you found what is unique about it? Can you project this quality into several different characters? Join us for this workshop as we learn to recognize and develop our authentic "voice" and *throw* it into any unique character we wish to create in our stories. At the Collective, we are female-identified writers throughout Tacoma, who celebrate our creative visions and write!
