Metro Parks Tacoma is now accepting proposals for visual arts classes to run this fall (Sept-Dec.)!  We are trying to expand our client base and reach further into the artistic community so we need ideas for new classes and instructors to teach them.

Current classes being offered are:
Little Artist Watercolor                                    Ages: 6 - 12          Min: 8    Max: 10
Center at Norpoint                                              Room 102            04770005.347600
Splash a little color into your life and create beautiful works of art while learning valuable painting techniques! All supplies provided.

Little Artist Studio                                              Ages: 5 - 8            Min: 4    Max: 12
STAR Center                                                          Zoom Room          04770005.347600
Explore painting, drawing and craft making!

Intermediate Visual Arts                  Age: 50+                Min: 6    Max: 13
STAR Center                                                          Discover Space    04770005.347600
Work with various media to create works of art and fine tune your skills.

Winter Ornaments (one day workshop)        Ages: 5-8              Min:2    Max:16

Come and make a one of a kind winter ornament for family and friends for the holidays!
Fee: $65

All proposals should include the following:
The name of the class and basic description
Target audience (is there a market for this audience?)
Max # of students you are willing to take on
What kind of space you need
All supplies needed and cost of supplies
Goal of the class (what will the students have that they didn't before taking this class)
Length and time of each class (remember all of our class sessions are 7 weeks long, and classes generally run between 1-2 hrs.)

STAR Center
Peoples Community Center
Portland Avenue Community Center
The Center at Norpoint
Sherman Elementary
Tacoma School of the Arts
Mt. Tahoma High School
