Our next 6-week session of pottery classes begins the week of September 16!

Choose your class time:
Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays from 6 to 8:30 pm.
Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays from 10 am to 12:30 pm

The $168 registration fee includes 2-1/2 hours of instruction each week, 25# of clay, glazes and firing of up to 20 pieces, plus 2-1/2 hours each week of open studio time. One of the most important steps to becoming a proficient potter is to practice. Open studio time is a chance for students to work on projects and practice on their own.

A basic pottery tool kit is required and available for purchase at registration.

New students should register at the studio.

If you’re not ready to commit to a 6-week class, we also offer a Try It class for $60/each.

Try It is a one-time 2-hour session and is exactly what it says. You get a quick introduction to wheel throwing ...then you try it. If you are considering signing up for a 6-week class, a Try It class will give you a bit of a head start.  It’s also a fun activity for you and up to 3 friends.  Call us to schedule a time.

Throwing Mud Gallery is more than a pottery studio – we are also a contemporary crafts gallery where we sell the work of about 75 different artists, mostly from the Pacific Northwest.  We have a wide selection of pottery, jewelry, wood, glass, metal and more.

Opening Tuesday, September 3 – our new “Paint Your Own Pottery” studio

Live with art – it’s good for you!
