Rainier League of Arts will be meeting tonight at the Mid County community Center at 10205 44th Avenue East, Tacoma, WA. The demonstrator tonight is David Craig. You may have seen him at the Western Heritage Center. He is a Native American and his style is drawing with spirit and imagination with a Native American/Western style. The meeting will start at 7PM. If you are an artist bring a sample of your art for the mini art show. Rainier League of Art has a mini art show every month.

Family ties are strong in the foothills of Mount Rainier, where David paints and raises his two young daughters on a small farm in a land as alive as it is beautiful. Enrolled Chippewa (Ojibwa), the Craig family travels throughout the Western United States enjoying Tribal gatherings, powwows, art shows, horseback riding, hiking, camping, & fishing in our open spaces.
David began private art lessons at the age of nine. He continued his passion for painting by earning a degree from the Seattle Art Institute and as a freelance artist to national parks, corporations and area businesses. He uses his free time to develop a style of drawing filled with spirit and imagination. Best known for watercolor, David also reaches out in mixed media, sculpting, drum making and painting, acrylics, leatherwork, charcoals, restoration and custom frame building.
