But important questions remain unanswered: • Why are our local beaches and waterways closed so often, and what can be done to prevent it? • How does boat noise affect Southern Resident orcas and other marine mammals as they return to South Sound waters? • Where are the greatest pollution risks still hiding, and how can better data drive accountability? http://www.healthybay.org/donate Today we’re launching Sound Science for a Sound Future, our year-end campaign to strengthen CHB’s scientific foundation and expand our capacity.
