Hi All.
I'm re-sending this because of the formatting code/garbage in the last version of this. I think it's a symptom of writing on a Mac in a PC world.
By the way, have any Mac users had luck pasting a Word .doc into an email and sending it out so that the photos and font appear as originally created?

Best-selling author of “The Nature Principle” speaks at Pierce College Puyallup this Thursday, May 2

Richard Louv, author of  “The Nature Principle: Reconnecting with Life in a Virtual Age,” advocates for a healthier balance between technology and nature so that we can experience the best of both.

Louv will bring his message to Pierce College Puyallup when he speaks at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2, in the Arts and Allied Health Theatre.

“The Nature Principle,” a New York Times Best Seller, is the 2013 Pierce College Common Book, a community movement to learn, discuss, and create around a single text.

Louv encourages a worldwide return to the restorative powers of nature to boost mental acuity and creativity, promotehealth and wellness, and build smarter and more sustainable businesses, communities and economies.

He is best known for his earlier book, “Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children From Nature-Deficit Disorder,” which sparked an international movement to reconnect children with nature and introduced the term "nature-deficit disorder."

Louv’s appearance is part of the Pierce College Puyallup Presents Artists and Speakers Series.

Tickets are $5 for general admission/free for Pierce College students, and are available at the door or in advance by calling (253) 840-8416.

Pierce College Puyallup is at 1601 39th Ave. SE, Puyallup, WA 98374.
Pierce College District 11 is a community college enrolling more than 24,000 students annually online and on campuses in Lakewood and Puyallup, and at centers on Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
