Hello, The deadline for Tahoma Audubon's annual *Youth Bird Drawing Contest* <http://www.tahomaaudubon.org/contest> has been extended to April 30. This spring, help *Pierce County youth in grades 1-8* explore their artistic side and get to know the birds of Mt. Rainier by encouraging them to participate in this contest. The three birds youth may draw this year are the Clark's Nutcracker, Mountain Chickadee and White-tailed Ptarmigan. Art supplies will be provided and youth can view real bird specimens up close. (Note the bird specimens are on loan from Slater Museum and are not live birds.)
